jrjr Posted December 19, 2007 Report Share Posted December 19, 2007 I guess this is a hardware issue.....We recently installed a Dell 3300 wireless print server. Attached to this is a USB HP 4315 printer. I can print anything I want from all of the windows machines and Linux machines except for Microsoft word documents from the windows machines. I tried Office XP on 2 machines, then uninstalled it and installed Office 2003 and still could not print a word document. When I click print, it just sits there, nothing in the que, no activity from the printer, nothing. It will sit there forever till I try to end it and then it becomes non responsive and I have to end the process. If I hook the printer directly to the USB port on a pc it will print fine. I called Dell support but they said, as expected, that this would only be supported if it were a Dell printer.Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
