windows 2000 start up problem

hey ... when i boot my laptop (model mentioned above) ... it gets stuck at applying computer settings/applying personal security settings... here is the event log ..

I disconnected my network card and disable serial,parallel and irda ports...still the same problem occurs.. what am i to do now? thanks..

Is this Windows 2000 Professional or Windows 2000 Server?

Most of the messages I see in your logs are from 2005; the only one that is current is the first one. Could that be a problem? I see it logged only once.

Can you boot into Safe Mode?

hey its windows 2000 pro and the time hasnt been set thats why the year is 2005.

How did you arrive at this state? Did the computer work before? What happened - how did the problem start? Can you try a System Restore to a date before the problem started? (That actually might be a problem with your date settings [2005].)
