mr-shine Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 Greetings,I'm brand new to these forums. Last week I was looking at some cars for sale on e-bay. Later that day (or the next ?) a picture of one of the vehicles,mysteriously appeared as my desktop wallpaper.I went into settings, and changed it back to what I had.The next day I noticed that when I shut my computer down,this picture (which appears to be several pictures "stitched together"),showed up in the shut down process - just when it says "Windows Is Saving YourPersonal Settings". Now it is there each time I shut it down.I'm running Windows 2000, I have Norton installed, and run regular scans.What/where could this file be, and how do I get rid of it ?Appreciate any help. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted January 8, 2008 Report Share Posted January 8, 2008 Welcome to the Windows Forum, both of you.I don't think hijackthis will automatically fix anything; it takes some knowledge to interpret and handle hijackthis logs correctly.I would recommend to run TrendMicro HouseCall; make sure that you use v6.6 if you are running Vista. (Actually you mention Windows 2000, so both v6.5 and v6.6 will run fine if you have Service Pack 4 installed.) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
