i cant get video form my s-video input.

i`ve connected it to my DVB receiver (digital video), but i cant get a picture from the input.

the pc it is about:

a medion 8080xl (2003)

specs:

-medion 8080xl mobo

-the original videocard (ati radeon 9800XL) was burned due the cooling was stopped (dust), so i replaced it with an fx 5200 nvidia

-i got it without HDD, so i put an 250GGB hdd in form western digital

-pentium 4 3ghz w/ HT

-1GB ram (original 512 MB, but i found that too less)

-an tv-card/modem combo in a combo slot ( is working, thats the place windows indicates where the s-video is on, but the s-video is on the front, directly connected to the Mobo)

-340watt power supply (is sufficient, i can play games without problems PLUS it was supplied by the manufacturer checked at medion)

-dvd/rw pioneer, dvd sony

-card reader (onboard, front-panel)

-front-panel (contains card reader, audio jacks, s-video/composite IN, 3 usb, 1 firwewire)

-c-media sound chip

-------------

i tried the folowing:

-tv tuner programs (they DO see the input. but image is black)

-checked the drivers, they`re all OK latest releases

-tried acces the s-video input in windows movie maker, with the same result as the first try.

-the tv-tuner DOES work, and i can watch TV, but not digital :P

does anyone know..?
