Mike567
So heres the problem, about a year ago my hard drive was playing up causing me to be constantly rebooting the machine which obviously didn't do any good for the installation,So I figured out the problem (s-ata cable  just got a new one off ebay), but here comes the other problem its a RAID drive so when I boot up the xp cd it cannot find anything due to the fact I need a floppy with drivers on.Yet every floppy disk in my house (a lot) none of them work, and I don't want to try the ones with win95 on :).This has happened with my friends floppys as well we spent a long time going through them to find one that worked (on my machine).is their a alternative to using floppys? i really dislike them . wickedadmin
You can probably use a thumb drive. If you can get on a working computer, try taking an image of the floppy drive with the drivers with WinImage or something similar. Then put that image on the thumb drive. I don't use floppy disks anymore. I have floppy images and when/if needed, I use a thumb drive.
