Keyboard Issues

Last night, I updated a large majority of my hardware (motherboard, CPU, and memory). I got all the drivers sorted out, but a strange problem has arisen. Every so often while typing, the computer will emit a loud error beep (not the Windows beep, more like a POST beep) and subsequently miss (or sometimes add) a keystroke. I've checked the IRQ settings, and the keyboard is where it should be. I've searched for other answers, but it's mostly about how to disable to beep but nothing about the missed keystrokes. Any help would be greatly appreciated because it's extremely annoying (it's happened about a dozen times in the writing of this post).
