zzr Posted March 4, 2008 Report Share Posted March 4, 2008 Have recently fitted new mobo and had to reinstall Win XP. Just recently I have been getting erratic internet or no connection at all. When re-booting the pc it sometimes hangs until I unplug my Netgear 632 router and press reset button then pc will boot up.Have reinstalled router settings many times and sometimes it works and othertimes not. The event log shows that it looses the IP address when booting up, despite having just set it beforehand. Any suggestions as to what is happening please?
