OK, if you are prepared to listen, maybe there is hope B)

What computer make is it? Some computers have a hidden partition that contains the Windows install.

But before you install Windows, you should know that you will need

  1. a firewall
  2. anti-virus
  3. anti-spyware

to protect you against malware. You will also have to learn how to be careful when surfing the web, and opening email from unknown sources.

how would i find out if i got a hidden partition

Open Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Computer Management | Storage | Disk Management.

I have the 3 things you said, Just got Sky and it comes with McAfees 12 month protection.

If you have McAfee active protection, how come you have hundreds of viruses? It is very, very rare that even one virus gets past McAfee - did you disable it, or what did you do to get infected? Ah, or was that before you got McAfee?

If you have McAfee installed now, make sure the virus definitions are up-to-date, then run a full scan on your system. It may actually clean up most of the mess.

As for other malware; what anti-spyware do you have installed?
