CLIPOMATIC

Recommended Posts

Hello All,

I have been using a great little clipboard utility called Clipomatic for some years now. I love it.

However, since I have been using it on XP I have noticed what I believe to be a Windows glitch.

The utility saves the last 10 items that have been copied to the clipboard. On XP after some clipboard usage the utility stops recording copies. The only way to get it working again is to restart Clipomatic. I believe this is a Windows glitch for 2 reasons.

1. This was not an issue in the past. It worked fine on 2000 and might have worked on earlier versions of XP.

2. I have tried to other clipboard utilities and they both suffer from the same issue.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to resolve this behavior?

Welcome to the Windows Forum.

I have been using Clipomatic for many years, and it is an extremely useful tool for a number of things.

I run my main computer 7*24, and I notice that from time to time Clipomatic suddenly stops functioning. I always thought that when the computer runs at night doing different tasks, that may be the cause. I just close it and reopen it; that takes me just a few seconds. I have never actually worried about that.

However, you may be right; I believe that never happened when I still ran Windows 2000. Let's see if next week (Windows XP-SP3) will cure it?
