Ironman Posted August 7, 2003 Report Share Posted August 7, 2003 Hi, I've been playing Freelancer (please don't spoil the plot, i'm only on Mission 5) and when at the beginning I was meant to mean Juni in the Equiptment dealer, she didn't turn up. No amount of wandering around or returning to places, talking to people would let the story advance. I got around it by reloading the game and all went smoothly.My friend also has the game and has got much further than me. He hits a point where the plot doesn't advance, and the people who're meant to meet him don't turn up. Wherever he reloads the game from he gets to the same point.Both systems are different (AMD & Radeon, P4 & GF4), plenty of RAM, no system probs.The patch on the MS site says that it mainly updates Multiplayer games, is it needed to stop these problems, or is there anything else that could be causign problems? Ironman Posted August 9, 2003 Author Report Share Posted August 9, 2003 ok, I think I've just hit the same point, just blown up some Nomad's after taking down a load of Shield gens, ended up back in liberty. I now have 100,000 credits and next level is 71,000 credits. Looks to me like the end of the game, would I be right? If so problem solved, thanks for your help. AndySD Posted August 9, 2003 Report Share Posted August 9, 2003 If you have destroyed the shield gens arround the planet and then gone back with Juni to the home planet where you started then its over..... but you can try for the biggest fighter by repairing your rep with the corsairs.
