figrock
I just built a new pc and I'm having troubles with installing 64-bit vista. I can get into my computer's bios fine. The issue I'm having is that when I boot from my cd rom I get the "windows is loading files" screen followed by the "microsoft corporation green loading bar" screen but then I get left on a rather nice looking, yet unresponsive, vista desktop-appearing screen (blue-green with three or four vertical lines). I get to move my mouse pointer but that's it. If anyone has experienced this before or has some advice on what could be a possible hardware error, please tell me, it would be a great help.
