Chromepro
Ok so well after two years this computer I built finally crashed. What I did was, I was randomly running the mouse down the taskbar clicking and clicking possibly overloading the cpu or mobo or something. the computer froze with no signs of life. So I shut power off, and waited then put it back on. It won't get passed the first screen where it detects any hardware attached to it. I am running Windows XP.I greatly appreciate any help. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Can you boot into Safe Mode? (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222)If not, can you load the Recovery Console? (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314058)
Guest Day There
Please Press F8 before the System boots into Windows and after the BIOS learned that there is a bootable partition on HDD. Choose Last known Good Configuration and try. If that doesn't work retry the same steps with Safe Mode. Hope this helps :)
Chromepro
well I couldnt even get to anything, like it was stuck on the screen where it detects the hardware. Now it is fixed. The Solution: Leave the power off overnight. Then it started up just fine
