Computer Crash

Recommended Posts

Ok so well after two years this computer I built finally crashed. What I did was, I was randomly running the mouse down the taskbar clicking and clicking possibly overloading the cpu or mobo or something. the computer froze with no signs of life. So I shut power off, and waited then put it back on. It won't get passed the first screen where it detects any hardware attached to it. I am running Windows XP.

I greatly appreciate any help.

Guest Day There

Please Press F8 before the System boots into Windows and after the BIOS learned that there is a bootable partition on HDD. Choose Last known Good Configuration and try. If that doesn't work retry the same steps with Safe Mode. Hope this helps :)
