USB device keeps asking for drivers?

Hello all!

I was working a PC trying to stop a "New hardware found" pop-up. I tried to identify the device and download the drivers from the net, but I can't. Where can I get info on the device in question, like a manufacturer ID or similar so I can get the right drivers?

I've tried the device manager, but all it says is "unknown". I was given all the USB devices they use: webcam, keyboard, camera, and thumbdrive. All seem to work just fine! I even unplugged everything except the keyboard and the message still comes up! Surely the keyboard has the right drivers...it's working.

I admit to not being the greatest windows admin, but this should be simple. So how do I identify the device it thinks it has found?

Also of note, this PC was massively infected with viruses/adware, which I have cleaned up.

Thanks in advance for ANY pointers,
