WINDOWS WONT SAVE MY DRIVER INSTALLATIONS..

Windows seems to have forgoten how to save driver installations..

Everytime i plug in anything via usb it keeps asking to install it all the time..

Anyone any idea if there is a option to re enable this or??

Maybe problem caused by using windows restore do to problems with pc not working correctly month or so ago???

any help greatly appreciated...

That is of course possible; it depends very much what kind of USB device it is. There are quite a number of devices where the driver must be installed before the device is connected for the first time.

Did you check that particular system for malware? It's always a possibility if something is not functioning right.

yes all checked, full virus scan and scan with adaware nothin detected,

must be problem with windows restore..

when i have time i will re install. just hassle with usb instalation all the time..

I use for mobile telephone repairs, unlocking upgrading etc as this is my job and i use usb boxs, adapters and cables lots of times per day so sucks having to install everytime..
