SweeT EviL Posted May 28, 2008 Report Share Posted May 28, 2008 hey all,recently i added t my computer a via vt6421 sata card, i wanted to installed the latest drivers so i did, after that y computer detected it as other card (3249) i deleted one part of the driver pack and reset the computer every since i see blue screen.i have tried to do the following:-normal mode-safe mode-last know cfg-put in the xp cd and go to recovery mode and disable 3 boot files(3 names with via in them)-put in the xp cd and go to recovery mode and type bootfix-delete the via folder from programs file and every thing with via releated on the same hard driveim currently connected the hdd to other computer trough the via vt6421 so i able to go around the files there but nothing so far.i was thinking to go into the boot file or whatever file that holds the driver startup info but dont know which file is that..does anybody have ANY idea, i dont want to format my windows....
