popey Posted June 17, 2008 Report Share Posted June 17, 2008 hello , i am using win xp pro sp2.......there is some error in the file system ....the file system is NTFS ......when i issued the command chkdsk it is saying that window found error in file system use chkdsk with /F option ....when i do the same it is saying "win can not lock the current drive".......i do the same from other drive but not working.....when i issue chkdsk it says " warning ! Would you like to schedule this volume to bechecked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)Simply reply Y, then reboot, and the CHKDSK will proceed after the reboot.
