If this screen appears again, follow these steps: Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need. If Problem continues, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory option such a caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Option and then select Safe Mode ***Stop: 0x000000D1 (0x00000024, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xF7797EFE) ***USBSTOR.SYS -Address F7757EFE base at F7797000, Dates Stamp 00000000 Beginning dump of physical memory and I have to restart my computer afterward. Is it possible to solve this problem? ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
What I would do in your situation is to upgrade to SP3, which delivers a new version of usbstor.sys (5.1.2600.5512).See this post before you run the SP3 update.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
You can install SP3 through Microsoft Update; the download is very much smaller than the full Service Pack download at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...08-1e1555d4f3d4

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Do not delete anything; the SP3 upgrade will automatically replace drivers and other software components.
