Vista file permissions

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I've two OS installed Vista on 1st partition and Ubuntu 8.04 in the next. In a third partition i've a FAT32 directory for the Thunderbird's mail (shared for both the OS).

I've a problem because Vista marks the directory and the file like "read only" and I can't change this option!! If a modify the option removing mark "Read only" (in the picture below in italia "Sola lettura"), after close and open again the directory's properties no changes are saved.

In Ubuntu i can change permission to the directoy but after a reboot all return back!

Can you help me? Thanks alot
