mattig89ch Posted July 7, 2008 Report Share Posted July 7, 2008 I'm using a windows XP tower, and am trying to update it. the only problem is that they don't install. there's no error message, and nothing appears in event log.I'm using a peer to peer network, with a dynamic IP address. i'm logged in as the system admin. and using Internet explorer with Directx enabled. I don't want to re-install the OS because this computer is used for presentations on a daily basis.
