SuperShoe Posted July 29, 2008 Report Share Posted July 29, 2008 I'm having the hardest time getting my XBox to connect Widows Media Center in Vista Home Premium x64 SP1. The thing is, I have had it working, but when I tried to use it a couple days ago, it just wouldn't connect. I can tell they see each other because the XBox will go into the "Windows Media Center contacting..." Screen but it won't do anything else unless I press the XBox button and go back to the Dash. The computer will get to "Configuring Extender Settings" and then it just says The Extender didn't connect. And the web help just tells me to configure my firewall. I'm using Windows Live OneCare and it's configured becuase I've had it working before. I've even disabled all startup options and services (except the ones needed for network and Media Center) and it still doesn't work. If anyone has any thoughts on what I can do, I'd appreiciate it.
