recruiter Posted August 14, 2008 Report Share Posted August 14, 2008 When I purchased my new computer, my email program was changed from Outlook Express to Vista"s Windows Mail. All my folders were imported as "Imported folders"in a new layer below all the new mail folders. I grudgingly lived with it, thinking it was an inevitable issue between Email programs. Since then I have had to return the pc for repair, and transfer my records to and from pc's a few times. Each time, during each transfer, all the previous folders keep lowering further and further down the tree. Now my emails folders are 5 layers deep I want to get all my folders back on the same level. Every time I want to find a message, I have to keep opening different imported folders, which is a real problem. I can't seem to get the folders to merge together.
