ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum. Can you dive us the exact error message your are getting? Two things I'd recommend if rundll32 is really missing - perform a System Restore to a date before it went missing, or run the System File Checkersfc /scannowYou will need your Windows disk for that. Nuckinya
it says:rundll32.exe- unable to locate componentThis application failed to start because kg371937.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Meaning that kg371937.dll is missing, not rundll32.I would check your system for malware; do you have antivirus and antispyware installed? Are they up-to-date? Have yo recently run a full scan of your system?
Nuckinya
not recently have i scanned my pc, also ive tried to fix it with combo fix, but it requires the component im missing to run..
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I recommend that you start with an online scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/; select v6.6 at the bottom of the page, if possible.
Vino Rosso
kg371937.dll has no returns on a number of searches so I would suspect your box is infected.... also ive tried to fix it with combo fix, but it requires the component im missing to run..Do not, I repeat, do NOT try to run ComboFix without guidance by a qualified helper. Used incorrectly, Combofix can make your computer into a very expensive paperweight. If there is no malware removal forum here at Windows Forum, I suggest enrolling and posting a HJT log at >Security Cadets<, >Malware Removal<, or >Bleeping Computer<
