makerpt Posted October 27, 2008 Report Share Posted October 27, 2008 Hello folks,I just joined and of course I have a problem that I cant seem to figure out.I have a machine that is connected to a small network. I have a network drive mapped and every time I double-click to open the network drive the 'my Documents' folder opens up instead. I have also noticed that when I right-click the network drive there are some invalid characters on the right-click menu that start with ?? (eg: ??2, ???3, ????4).I have norton antivirus 2008 installed, I have my explorer set to view hidden files and folders and dispay hiddon operating system files and performed a full scan which results in nothing being found. According the the antivirus software I have a clean system. I'm stuck, does anyone out there have any ideas what is going on and how to resolve it?Thanks in advance..
