Hello.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate 32bit edition. I installed SP1 on it then removed it.

Now when i put the laptop on stand by mode and wake it up the dvd drive is not shown in my computer or device manager,

however after a system restart it appears back. each time i put the computer on standby this happens.

I didnt have this problem before installing sp1 for the 1st time. I tried some solutions through system registry (removing upper and lower filters) but didn't find these keys on my computer!

please help..

Laptop model: LG E500
