Hi y'all!

I need yer help. I've been looking on the internet how to block specific software being launched. I've found this on the Microsoft website. But the problem is that everyone can't launch the software including myself. How can I do to block everyone from using a specific software except myself, as I'm the administrator. I'm kinda noob in windows administration, so please give details.

It's really urgent, please help!

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Windows Forum.

Near the bottom of the page that you linked to, it says

By default, all users are subject to the security restriction policy settings on the computer. You can configure enforcement for all users except local administrators, which allows local administrators to run disallowed programs.

So it is possible to exempt administrator users from the restrictions.

I'm sorry, I currently do not have the time to investigate how to do that in details, as I am leaving in a few minutes. Maybe someone else will come up with some details. In the meantime try Google with some of the keywords from the paragraph above. Especially look out for Microsoft Technet pages.

P.S. Maybe the Skip Administrators section in this chapter will give you the answer: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc163080.aspx
