Glyn Posted January 23, 2009 Report Share Posted January 23, 2009 I have recently purchased a new laptop with Vista and have installed a statistical replay game. Ocassionally I have to update files that are in the game folder which is located in the Program Directory, but the system will not let me save them and I get an error message stating "Cannot create the C\Program File\...... Make sure that the path and file name are correct" The work around appears to be to save to another file and then copy them in, but why cannot I save a file to this Directory in the same way as I used to under XP. I have tried with Defender disabled but this makes no difference - is there another setting that I could change? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
