megfarp
I believe I got a virus on my computer. My computer all of a sudden had a bunch of programs on the desktop. I deleted it all, and then my roommate says that a blue screen came up with a message about a physical memory dump.I got home, and restarted my desktop, and it turned on. When I logged in, all of the icons were huge, and nothing can be clicked on. When I put the mouse over the start bar, it has an hour glass. I have TONS of photos that i'd like to save. any of you know how to help?thanks. :D
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Welcome to the Windows Forum.Do you have an anti-virus software installed on your computer? If so, make sure that it is up-to-date with virus definitions, then run a full scan on your computer. If for some inexplicable reason you don't have AV, then run an online scan with http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ - use the v6.6 link at the bottom of the panel. It is just frozen. I don't have a separate anti-virus program, but was using a browser that checks for viruses. Any other ideas?
