Eugen
I have installed Windows XP SP3 on my compiuter in english. Then I got another copy of windows XP SP2 in italian.I wanted to prove if this disk was ok so I run setup from windows.I put the serial number and the disk was ok but then accindentally I clicked the next button and it began to check for updates (in the internet or on my disk,I dont now). After finishing the update (for 2-3 minutes) I interrupted the setup by pushing the reset button. Now when I turn on my compiuter it shows two choises:1.Windows XP Professional 2.Windows XP Professional setupCan you help me to remove this nag screen that appears always at start up. :(
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
It's not a nag screen; it is the Windows boot manager. You can remove it easily with MSCONFIG - see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/289022If you are unsure what to do, post the current contents of your boot.ini file, and someone will guide you on what exactly to do.
