Posted June 30, 2009 Report Share Posted June 30, 2009 I recently updated my Nvidia Display Driver with 186.18 as advised I uninstalled the old Driver.During the installation process I received a message saying that the new driver was already installed I choose the option to overwrite and continued with the new installation.My display is working OK but later when I looked in add/remove programs under Nvidia display drivers its showing 800mbs I thought that display drivers were only 78mbs so am wondering if perhaps I have done something wrong during installation by using the overwrite option.Any help and advice would be appreciated.Tony. ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb Posted July 1, 2009 Report Share Posted July 1, 2009 It is very difficult to answer this question, as we don't know exactly what you did, or where you get that 78MB number from.Anyway, the size you find under Add/Remove Programs is an approximation, not a exact number.
