jaymax
"Floppy Disk not Recognized in Clean Install"I am attempting a clean installation of Windows XP on a new disk. I have 3rd party drivers to install but the system at this step fails to recognize the floppy drive. At least it fails to respond to the F6 > S > 'Insert ... floppy disk ...' sequence. The drive is required for the floppy disks on which the drivers are located. Is there a way around this, putting them on a CD or USB since some computers are coming now without floppy disks.BTW the floppy drives works with an Alt. Boot using Win 2K Pro Thanks!
