frank1123
I have windows xp pro SP3 installed. The computer has 3 monitors, supplied by two video cards. The monitor and video card configuration has changed a few times over time. Most programs run fine. I have two programs that will start up normally, but are displayed at a “virtual display” I cannot see, outside of the 3 physical monitors. One of the programs can be seen by invoking the “maximize” option on the bottom toolbar. The second program has disappeared completely with, the tab still on the toolbar, but the maximize option is no longer there. When I click the toolbar tab on either program I see the minimized window traversing the display and ending somewhere outside of the visible monitors. It looks like the programs are shown on a monitor that is no longer physically there. To set up the multiple monitor display I used both Nvidia control panel and windows display properties. De-installation and re-installation of the program has no effect.Any help in getting the two programs display on the 3 physical monitors would be appreciated. Sbrideau
When you right click on the program tab on the toolbar, you should see the option "Move", click it and it should position your mouse directly where you can click and move the window. Unfortunately, I don't know if it does work like that on XP since I only have Vista and recently installed 7, but I just tried in my virtual machine running XP but the position of the mouse from Vista takes over it and it only changes the cursor in vbox.Still, you could go and check your display options and make sure there are only 3 screens displayed in that window.
