GunhackX
Hello, I am new here...I am having problems with my Sony VAIO Laptop computer. Some days ago I notice that all my icons (Except System Icons: My PC, Documents, etc) has changed for Windows Media Player Icon File and when I try to open a picture or any other program like: PhotoShop, Paint, Microsoft Office, etc. Windows Media Player try to open that file but it always fails. I would like to know how can I restore all my icons. I also tried TuneUp 2010, but it didn't help me.

ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
It appears as if your file associations may be corrupt. If you cannot use System Restore, then you may need to manually fix them. But before that, did you install/update a program around the time when this started? I have seen similar things happening under Vista when Adobe Reader was installed.
