Nuno
Hello,I have a Asus A8HE laptop (Vista Home) and bought a Huawei E156G USB modem.I cannot get the modem to work because rigth after installing the Drives (automatically by windows, as I plug it in), it always ends up in a Blue Screen of Death.- It installs and works great on my other 2 laptops (one with Vista and other with WSeven).- In the past I have used another 2 USB modems (from other brands). The first worked fine, but after installing the second one the Blue Screen appeared. Now with this 3rd one it's the same issue (so i thougth, driver conflict issue).--- I uninstalled the software from previous USB Modems.- The Blue Screen has this error message: USBSTOR.SYS and also DRIVER_UNLOADED_WITHOUT_CANCELLING_PENDING_OPERATIONSSolutions I have already tried:-Unninstalling all the software of the 3 modems I could find, and reinstall this one's.-In SafeMode, unninstall all USB drivers and let WVista install them again in NormalMode. Thanks you very much
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Many USB devices need the drivers installed before actually connecting the device.Did it come with a disk and instructions how to install the drivers?
Nuno
It came with no disk, and the instructions just say to plug in and let it install the software... Everything comes inside the USB modem. It worked just fine on others laptops as I mencioned.Thank you
