Mothman
Yesterday after copying my tiff images to DVD and cd, from my external hard drive, and then viewing them in Windows Explorer and Photoshop CS4, I could not view half of the thumbnails! Some of the images show, but the others just show the NEF Nikon/TIFF file name and not the image. 14 of the images load on Medium size, but none load as images on Large and Extra size images. Older DVDs and cds with images on are ok, its just the recent ones I have taken. The RAW files on the hard drive view fine. The Tiff images were taken on my Nikon D3X, as were the NEF files. I can view all images in Nikon View. Would it be a Windows update that has causes a problem as the images burned to cd and DVD on my PC load fine on our Mac laptop.Any ideas? Thanks
sshayndell12
Forgot to say something that might be important. The thumbnails work in safe mode.
sorush.nazari
I would say there is something wrong with the thumbnail cache.here is the description:/>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_thumbnail_cacheYou could try ccleaner to sort out the problem. Let up know how it goes.

Was wondering if the fact that I have changed from using a two 8GB compact flash cards in my camera to two 16GB cards has made a difference?Any ideas? Thanks
