kevin.Fries
I got my laptop in mid-summer 09. And I sent my laptop in for repair about a month ago, and got it back 2 weeks ago. But when I got it back, I noticed something was wrong. Windows was saying I didn't own Windows anymore, it was asking for my Activation Key. But of course I didn't have it anymore because I upgraded it almost a year ago. I got Windows 7 for free because Microsoft gave it to me for free because I had Vista. Can anyone help me? Do I have to buy a new copy of Windows?
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
Best thing to do with this kind of problem is to call Microsoft. Also ask the repair shop what they did to deactivate Windows.

sorush.nazari
The shop could have run setup again on your computer and used and unlicensed version.
