Hosts file.

Hi , my son is surfing in some sites that i wont him to surf in.

So i build a site that will filter the bad sites , what I'm trying to find is an Hosts file that will block all sites and leave only 1 site that he can get in.

I mean blocking all sites and allow only 1 site .

That is not likely to work because most web pages are filled with objects that come from several sites so it becomes a nightmare to manange. And kids are very smart and can usually undo anything you did. Your best bet is to use parental control software which is password controlled so they cannot undo your changes unless you give them, or they figure out the password. Also, it is best if computers are located in common areas where parents can watch what the children are doing. The child will not like this and feel you are the meanest parent in the world, but this is for their safety which one day, when they have kids of their own, they will understand. Very smart bad guys are out there seeking out children to exploit - either for heinous intent, or to compromise the computer or your network's security to gain information about you. Additionally, children should have limited accounts and always separate from the parent's. See Windows 7 and Vista "Standard" User Accounts or XP "Limited" User Accounts for more information.

Remember, you may trust your child, but you cannot trust his "friends". If your child is still very young, establishing these rules and policies now will be much easier. If your child is already older, well, you can't be a friend and a good parent at the same time - at least not most of the time. (5 kids, 7 grandkids - been there done that!)

That said, if you do want to use a hosts file, I recommend using the MVP Hosts file and you can easily manage it with HostsXpert or HostsMan. Note that using a large hosts file may affect system performance so see the note on the MVP Hosts file page about turning off the DNS Client service. But again, your child, or his friends can undo changes to the hosts file as easily as you can make them.

Actually , my system have been created and tested by me , blocks all the unworthy sites.

How ever my last move to make this all move together is block all site and let the computer walk in only 1 site.

The MVP file does not effective so much since I can't write thousands of line of site address , and that is what my system just build for , my system can locate any ad and any site that is not worthy.

Don't worry about my kid and specially about my system , they are very smart and they know what the best for them and can think very well what to block and what to do and etc.

The Parental software are either not effective for me since I know already what he hes doing but I want to stop it in my way .

I still looking for solution if someone have one.
