SysAdmin09 Posted October 8, 2010 Report Share Posted October 8, 2010 I am trying to move DHCP off of a Cisco PIX to a Windows Server 2003 Ent. Edition. I disable everything on the PIX, and create the same scope on the Windows Server. When Machines lose their IP on the PIX, they get limited or no connectivity. The workstations at my org will not recognize the WinServ DHCP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
malu Posted November 2, 2010 Report Share Posted November 2, 2010 did you find a solution for this?The things I'd think about are: Is the scope you made on the Win server activated in AD? (if you are running a domain)Is the server on the same LAN segment as the dhcp clients? As in, are there vlans or firewalls involved?Can you install network monitor onto the server, to make sure you are receiving the dhcp traffic?Are you running routing and remote access on the win2k3 server by any chance?mark Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
