TedTheMan
Hey!I got a big problem with my windows XP...few weeks ago i ran out of memory on C disk and windows crashed...when i started it again my interface was set to the classic one,the desktop was blue and many programs worked no more including:Mozzila Firefox,Internet Explorer,Windows Media Player etc. .When i tried to change any setting(Desktop background for instance)it wasn't saving. It became unusable. So to fix this problem i made a new user account and it finaly started to come back to normal...Still i have some big issues:Windows Media Player still does not work AND when i open some windows they are completly empty(including the search window)...see by your self:What program i miss or is broken? What i can do to solve this problem? Please help mee! :(Btw,sorry!I didn't noticed that it is in Windows 7 support :(
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
The first thing I would try is a System Restore to a date before the problem occurred (if you have restore points that far back). If that does not fix it, run the System File Checkersfc /scannowYou will need your Windows install disk for that.If that still did not resolved your problem, the only thing left is a Windows repair install.Of course, if you have a full backup from before the problem started, that would be the easiest way to recover everyting.P.S. moving topic to standard Windows Support forum.
