Hello guys, Hueyz here. A couple of months back i was playing my favorite online game (WoW) when it suddenly froze. I then restarted my pc and got a : Disk read Error, ctrl+alt+del to restart. Following the message I did the restart just to be faced with the same issue. I tried fixing the MBR, re-installing windows etc. Nothing. So i bought a new HDD. A month passes and it happened again, while playing the same game. I re-installed windows and so far so good, yet im scared of playing WoW now. Help?

When you say it happened again, exactly what you do mean? Locking up or freezing is one thing (with almost countless possible causes), but a disk read error is another, fairly specific thing. Did you get a disk read error with the new drive too? If so, that would raise flags about the disk controller - a motherboard issue. I would at least run disk Error Checking with both options checked. It will prompt you to run at next boot, which you should allow. Note on large drives, it can take many hours to complete, often appearing to be hung. Just walk away and let it run, or better yet, go to bed and check it in the morning.

Have you scanned for malware?
