Animations

Since I joined this Forum (and excellent it is, too), I've become fascinated by the animations. ellas told me how to put them in my postings but I would like to know how it all works. Would someone explain it all to me, please (or point me toward a book or web site)?

What software would I need to create my own animations? And can I use the animations in e-mails, for example.

I shall be very grateful for any information (I don't think ellas will tell me anything because he's ignoring me at the moment. Why? Because I told him to in a posting - but I meant ignore my animations - I was practising, you see...oh,well...)

For my animations I use Animation Shop 3 (which came with PaintShop Pro 7).

It's pretty straight forward. You create the images you'd like to animate in an order and put them into a new animation in the software. You can alter how fast you want each frame to animate and stuff.

Thanks for that. I'll have a look at Paintshop Pro. I think a trial copy is on one of my magazine CDs - but perhaps it's not the full-blown thing - but it will give me an idea of how to use it and whether to buy it.

Hi ellas

I was sort of carrying the joke a bit further - I know you are not really ignoring me. I need to learn how to use smilies so I'm not taken seriously when I mean to be funny (story of my life... oh, smiley needed :D).

For animations i use Coral R.A.V.E Its comes as part of coral draw 10, but it is quite dear....the package cost me £550, but im sure u can get R.A.V.E on its own somewhere
