chrisper
Hi, probably another stupid question. In XP, display settings gave you advanced display settings where you could adjust the size of scroll bars, caption buttons, the size and spacing of icons, fonts and many other things which made the computer easier to see for those with low vision. I know I have found it in W7 in the past, think you need the aero theme, but even when I switch to it I can't find that lovely set of controls. Also, related, is it possible to have the aero theme and just have a solid background screen colour (my prefernce) and not some damn graphics? Thanks all. ChaseMD
Go to the Ease of Access center in the control panel for your first question. For the changing of the desktop background, click on your desktop in an empty location and select personalize. Then select wallpaper or background, whichever it is. Choose solid color and choose black.
