Sachin CHAVAN Posted October 25, 2012 Report Share Posted October 25, 2012 How to compress a file in gbs to a file in mb?I saw one 9 mb rar file when I extracted it was of 3.45gb and its working perfectly fine.How can I compress to such an extent please reply fast I really need it to save my dataI want the software name and the complete process , I have watched some youtube videos and all of theme are fake so please do not post any fake video link.the iso file which I extracted , I was able to create the archieve of that iso file again to a size of 9 mb again but I was unable to do it with other iso files which I created so I think the answer lies in the creation of that kind of an iso file I suppose .....Please reply fast or send me the link if this question is already solved on this website because I joined this website to find the answer of this question only......With greate hopes.....Bye....... :) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A text file can achieve much higher compression levels than image files (which may already be compressed, e.g. JPEGs).I have used WinZip for many years, and the newer versions can achieve quite high compression levels.But you write that you want to save your data.
