bootvolume
hiHey, I put in my windows recovery cd and I went to edit partition's and it says that /dev/sda2 ERROR: This software has detected that the disk has at least 2 bad sectors. It says we suggest making a full backup urgently by running 'ntfsclone --rescue..' then run 'chkdsk /f /r' on windows and reboot it TWICE! then you can resize. NTFS safely by additionally using the -bad sectors option of ntfsresize How do you do this? I got the unmountable boot volume error I have windows vista and I can not log in to my computer but I can access BIOS Please Help??
ɹəuəllıʍ ʇɐb
I don't know about ntfsclone; use Windows' own backup program ntbackup.Go to the Recovery console and run it from there; see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/814583 how to use it.Afterwards run chkdsk.
