jaymak11 Posted July 8, 2013 Report Share Posted July 8, 2013 I'm brand new here, not a techie, know enough to snoop around, I had a Volume Dirty warning on my external HD and my XP laptop so I found something that took me to Tool tab, then check 2 options. It started working, took around 6 hours and finished. I restarted XP and noticed that my speed was about 75% faster!! It's working great but what exactly did I do and does that speed up my old Dell laptop. Sure seems like it. Any comments will make me smarter.
