Guest Phil H Posted January 23, 2003 Report Share Posted January 23, 2003 HI, I have a backup strategy (using Windows NTbackup onto DLT IV) with schedules as follows:- Every Friday Weekly FullEvery Day Daily Differential I want to add another schedule to perform a Monthly Full backup on the last Friday (or the last day) of every month.My questions are,Does a monthly backup take priority over a weekly or daily job? Is it a case of ensuring that the correct tape is in the drive and all other (weekly and daily) jobs will be ignored? (if so , what effect will this have on logs and stuff). Any ideasPhil...
