Craig Posted October 3, 2003 Report Share Posted October 3, 2003 Since installing my new Enermax PSU yesterday i relalised that the PSU comes equipped with a 3-pin adapter that plugs onto my motherboard to detect PSU fan speed.My motherboard (MSI KT3 Ultra) does support this feature as i have consulted the manual.However my motherboad software (MSI PC alert 4) reports a PSU fan speed of 0.I know the fans on the PSU are spinning, so i'm not sure what the problem is.If i plug a standard case fan in, again it does spin, but it dectects 0 rpm.Any ideas?! I find with my Enermax twin fan PSU that if the adjuster is wound up to full speed it wont register an RPM, howeaver if I turn it down I can get an RPM reading, give that a go and let us know how you get on ;) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
