Hi. I am a developing some apps for personal use and was wondering if the title of my post was possible?

Certain commands in more than 1 app are mapped to the same key for example and I wish to be able to do 2 things at once.

As an analogy, imagine a game. Two instances of this game are open and there is one character in each. If I press w, I want both instances of the game to register the input and both characters to move forward. I hope that makes sense.

Currently running windows 7 but if it is possible in windows 8 I will upgrade in order to test.
