Craig
Since taking my computer apart on saturday and giving it a clean with the air duster, i have noticed that my CPU temp has gone up by 6c and my case temp 6c.I havent changed the way anything is setup within the case, so not sure what is causing the increase.Current CPU temp is 53cCurrent Case temp is 44cI am also used to my CD's getting a bit hot while in the the CDROM, but today GTA3 was close to melt down when it ejected. It's not a problem as yet, but has anyone every experianced an increase in temp like this?Craig. Guest ellas
I also took apart my PC and used my compressed air duster (from Maplin) to blow the dust away. Then i took pics of it being put back together so i can make a tutorial on it to share with people here (tutorial will come soon).looking foward to that, although not sure if I like the idea of my temps going up

Prince of Calcutta
never experienced anything like this with my cleaning sessions ( and i use a vacuum cleaner!) try checking whether the fans etc are connected ok.. maybe you knocked off your heat sink ;)
Craig
fans are making enough noise, so i guess they are going!HSF is connected, otherwise the temp would creep up higher and higher until lights out!Craig.
