Couple of queries.

I'd always assumed this was a uk based site. So why does the tutorial guide for the Chat Room come with US spellings? ie color as opposed to colour

Also when it refers to password and user name does the password and username for the Windows Forum proper count. (It doesn't much matter cause I can't for the life of me remember my password which is why I never sign out :P )

This is a UK site, but the chat room software is from the USA.

The forum is part UK / USA software.

We are working to get the chat room to use the same username and password as the forum, but at the moment you will need to register a second account to use chat.

Hope this helps,

Craig.

Cheers.

I've now been in.

But I came out again

because it all seemed rather silly.

It's my first shot at a chat room.

But I think I prefer non real time comms.

Less of a need to get the next word in

and more time to think.

Charm? Hmmmm.

It may well be that I simply can't think fast enough.

I know that RTS games are beyond me, no sooner than I've planned a move, and my soldiers are all dead.

May well be the same with written speech.

But I don't know. I wasn't expecting to find people playing "looking up the rude words in the dictionary" games. I was happy doing that once sure, but it was 30 odd years ago.

It makes me feel old and fuddy duddy I guess.

I reckon I'll stick to the sensible thoughts of the forum ;)
